General Information

OJSC Zarubezhenergoproekt is the leading design company that carries out designing of Power Installations both in Russia and abroad.

The company dates from 1962 when Ivanovo Design Department was founded as an integral part of Moscow Branch Office of TEPLOELECTROPROEKT Design Institute.

In 1987 the Design Department was reformed to a Branch of TEPLOELECTROPROEKT Design Institute.

In 1990 the Branch of TEPLOELECTROPROEKT Design Institute was reformed into Zarubezhenergoproekt Design and Research Institute.

In 1992 the Institute has been privatized and reorganized into Open Joint Stock Company ZARUBEZHENERGOPROEKT.

The main activity of the company covers design work for construction of power plants:

• Steam power plants, combined cycle and gas turbine power plants and boiler plants;
• Geothermal power plants;
• Design works for rehabilitation of thermal power plants.

OJSC Zarubezhenergoproekt has a great experience in complex design of Thermal Power Plants with Units of 25 MW to 660 MW capacity both in Russia and abroad.

OJSC Zarubezhenergoproekt has an abundant experience in designing Thermal Power Plants being a member of International Consortia and cooperates in joint projects with the leading Western Companies such as ABB, Alstom Power, Siemens.

Since 1997 OJSC Zarubezhenergoproekt uses PDS/SPE (Plant Design System/SmartPlant Enterprise, Intergraph, USA) to design Power Plants. Nowadays PDS 3D is often a Client’s mandatory requirement to the designer of the plant.

The certified Quality Management System as per ISO 9001 is implemented in OJSC Zarubezhenergoproekt for quality assurance and quality management.
