1987	Ivanovo Design Department was reformed into the Branch Office of TEPLOELECTROPROEKT Design Institute
1990	The State Design-and Research Institute Zarubezhenergoproekt was founded for designing power plants abroad having the status of legal entity
1992	The State Design-and Research Institute Zarubezhenergoproekt was privatized and reorganized into Open Joint Stock Company Zarubezhenergoproekt being an affiliate company of Foreign Trade Stock Company ZarubezhEnergoStroy.
1995	The company was reformed into Open Joint Stock Company Zarubezhenergoproekt.
